Manga,
Manga is Japanese cartoon which is widely popular all over Japan which look like this ----->

You get different types of manga like ;

  1. Shônen – Boy’s Manga – (Pronounced Show-Nen)
  2. Shôjo – Girl’s Manga – (Pronounced Show-Joe)
  3. (I use this book )
  4. Seinen – Men’s Manga – (Pronounced Say-Nen)
  5. Josei (or redikomi) – Women’s Manga – (Pronounced Joe-Say)
  6. Kodomo – Children’s Manga – (Pronounced Kow-Dow-Mow)
It is useful to know the different types of manga. I usually draw Kodomo manga which look like this --->

                               Where does Manga come from?
The style of manga came from the west during and after World War II. It originated from the western comics that soldiers brought over to Japan. The Japanese changed it to where the characters themselves had larger eyes. These larger eyes couldn't fit into western-shaped faces, so those were changed as well.
After all the changes given to the comics, you get manga.
